Install Geary in Ubuntu:

Geary 0.4 is available in Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy’s universe repository, just search for and install it from Ubuntu Software Center.

The Yorba Team has built this release for Ubuntu 13.04 Raring, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal in their PPA. Press Ctrl+Alt+T on your keyboard to open terminal. When it opens, run below commands one by one to install this email reader and sender:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:yorba/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install geary

The team doesn’t built it on Ubuntu 12.04 due to the libraries change so much between Ubuntu editions. If you’re feeling adventurous, read this guide to build Geary 0.4 on Ubuntu 12.04 Precise.
