Want to change the default Yaru theme colors? Yaru-Colors is a theme project offers 12 different colors to the Yaru theme.<\/p>\n

With Yaru-Colors, you can change the Yaru theme colors of Applications, Cursors, Icons, and Gnome Shell menus (underline & highlights).<\/p>\n

And available colors include: aqua<\/b>, blue<\/b>, brown<\/b>, deep blue<\/b>, green<\/b>, gray<\/b>, mate<\/b>, orange<\/b>, pink<\/b>, purple<\/b>, red<\/b>, yellow<\/b>. And all colors in light, dark, and standard modes.<\/p>\n

1.)<\/b> First click download the tarball from release page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

2.)<\/b> Open file browser, extract the source tarball, and right-click source folder, select “Open in Terminal”.<\/p>\n

3.)<\/b> When terminal opens, run command to install the themes:<\/p>\n

Follow terminal outputs to answer some questions and done!<\/p>\n

4.)<\/b> Enable User theme<\/b> extension via either Extensions or Gnome Tweaks -> Extensions<\/b> (Both available in Ubuntu Software if you don’t have it).<\/p>\n
Or follow this tutorial to install User theme gnome shell extension<\/a> if you can’t enable the extension.<\/p>\n
5.)<\/b> Finally open Gnome Tweaks and go to Appearance<\/b>, there select a different Yaru color theme for Applications, Icons, Shell.<\/p>\n
