Now Ubuntu uses Ubuntu Software Center which is slow and frequently gives me &#8216;The package is of bad quality&#8217; error.<\/p>\n<p>You can easily install Gdebi package installer (default in Linux Mint) and set it as default deb installer by this tutorial.<\/p>\n<p>Go to Ubuntu Software (or App Center for Ubuntu 24.04 and higher), search for and install <b>GDebi Package Installer (gdebi)<\/b> package:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/gdebi-package-installer.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1295\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/gdebi-package-installer.jpg\" alt=\"install gdebi package installer\" width=\"450\" height=\"198\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/gdebi-package-installer.jpg 450w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/gdebi-package-installer-300x132.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then, open your file manager and go to <b>Properties<\/b> window of one deb package by right-clicking on it.
