It includes an intelligent program editor, an interactions pane for evaluating program text, a source level debugger, and a unit testing tool.<\/p>\n<p>This tutorial shows you how to install DrJava via getdeb repository in Ubuntu 13.04, Ubuntu 12.04, Ubuntu 12.10, Ubuntu 10.04 and their derivatives such as Linux Mint, Elementary, etc.<\/p>\n<p><b>To get started<\/b>, download and install the deb from the below link which will add the GetDeb repository to your system:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><del datetime=\"2019-04-04T15:49:25+00:00\">Download getdeb package<\/del><\/p>\n<p>For Linux Mint, you can directly <a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/index.php\/2013\/07\/enable-getdeb-playdeb-repository-in-linux-mint\/\" target=\"_blank\">enable getdeb repository<\/a> from Software Sources.<\/p>\n<p>To install DrJava, click <i>Reload<\/i> button and search and install <i>drjava<\/i> package in Synaptic Package Manager. Or, run below command in terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T):<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install drjava<\/pre>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DrJava-ubuntu.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DrJava-ubuntu.jpg\" alt=\"DrJava Ubuntu\" width=\"468\" height=\"298\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1552\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DrJava-ubuntu.jpg 468w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/DrJava-ubuntu-300x191.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Update-20170107: The tutorial should also works on current Ubuntu releases, including Ubuntu 16.04, Ubuntu 16.10, Ubuntu 14.04 and their derivatives.
