It provides options to start\/stop, browse and edit Conky themes installed on the system.<\/p>\n<p>The software was originally developed by by teejee2008 (Tony George), but not been updated for quite a few years. And <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/zcot\/conky-manager2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Conky Manager 2<\/a> takes the job to make it work on recent Linux systems with updated Conky versions support.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/conky-manager.webp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42660\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/conky-manager-600x360.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/conky-manager-600x360.webp 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/conky-manager-300x180.webp 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/conky-manager-768x460.webp 768w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/conky-manager.webp 1101w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Install Conky Manager 2 Ubuntu via PPA:<\/h3>\n<p>For those still using conky widget to monitor CPU\/RAM, network usage, and weather information, I&#8217;ve create an <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~ubuntuhandbook1\/+archive\/ubuntu\/conkymanager2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unofficial PPA<\/a> contains the most recent packages for Ubuntu 22.04 and Ubuntu 20.04, with both 64-bit and arm64\/armhf OS types support.<\/p>\n<p><b>1.)<\/b> First, open terminal by either pressing <b>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/b> on keyboard, or searching from &#8216;Activities&#8217; overview screen. Tick or un-tick any item in the list will start or stop conky with that theme, though you may also use the tool bar buttons.<\/p>\n<p>And, you can use the &#8220;<b>spanner<\/b>&#8221; icon to config theme options, including screen location, size, background transparency.
