It&#8217;s called Kawaii Emoji Messenger.<\/p>\n<p><b>Kawaii Emoji Messenger<\/b> is a multiplatform <b>Facebook client<\/b> based on the idea of bringing emoji on desktop.<br \/>\nThrough Kawaii Emoji Messenger you can use a full set of emoji in you Facebook conversations and comments in the easiest way.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/facebook-with-emoji.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/facebook-with-emoji.jpg\" alt=\"facebook client with emoji support\" width=\"580\" height=\"539\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2670\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/facebook-with-emoji.jpg 580w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/facebook-with-emoji-300x278.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Facebook does not allow emoji on its web version for browsers. So this app shows you a mobile version of Facebook.<\/p>\n<h3>Install Kawaii Emoji Messenger<\/h3>\n<p><b>NOTE: Kawaii Emoji Messenger is currently in its beta stage so you may find it a little unstable and incomplete.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve made this tool into PPA to make it easy to install. The PPA supports Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 13.10, Ubuntu 13.04, Ubuntu 12.04, Ubuntu 12.10, Linux Mint and other derivatives.<\/p>\n<p>To install it, press <u>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/u> on keyboard to open terminal and run commands below one by one:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuhandbook1\/apps\r\n\r\nsudo apt-get update\r\n\r\nsudo apt-get install kawaiiemojimessenger<\/pre>\n<p>Once installed, open it from Unity Dash or Menu.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to build it from source code, run commands below one by one within the source folder:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">mkdir build\r\ncd build\r\ncmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=\/usr ..\r\nmake\r\nsudo make install<\/pre>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/kawaii-emoji-messenger.sourceforge.net\/\" title=\"Kawaii-emoji-messenger project homepage\" target=\"_blank\">Kawaii-Emoji-Messenger Home<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There&#8217;s now a new Linux app which brings Facebook client on your Desktop with emoji support.
