First install Gnome Tweaks and required theme engines.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Open <u>terminal<\/u> (press Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard), paste following command (Ctrl+Shift+V) and run to install some required libraries:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-murrine gtk2-engines-pixbuf gnome-tweaks libcanberra-gtk3-module libcanberra-gtk-module libglib2.0-dev gir1.2-gtkclutter-1.0<\/pre>\n<p><i>Type user password (no asterisk feedback) and hit Enter.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/apt-themeengines.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"100\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-27734\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/apt-themeengines.png 560w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/apt-themeengines-450x80.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>2. Download \/ Install Mac OS Catalina Theme:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The light, dark, transparent theme packages are available at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gnome-look.org\/p\/1241688\/#files-panel\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">gnome-look.org page (under files tab)<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Select download one or all of the packages as you want. You may also download &#8220;Extra&#8221; tarball for wallpaper and fonts.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/download-mc-ctlina.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"193\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-27771\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then install them via:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to <b>Downloads<\/b> folder and extract all the three tarball.<\/li>\n<li>Open new <b>Files<\/b> (Nautilus file browser) window. <\/li>\n<li>Press <b>Ctrl+H<\/b> to display hidden file folders.<\/li>\n<li>Then navigate to <b>.themes<\/b> folder (<i>create the folder if not exist!<\/i>).<\/li>\n<li>Finally move the theme package folders from <b>Downloads<\/b> to <b>.themes<\/b>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/mv-mcthemes.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"329\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-27803\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/mv-mcthemes.png 560w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/mv-mcthemes-450x264.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>2. Install user theme Gnome Shell extension.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>You can skip this step if you have already installed the User Theme extension, and don&#8217;t want the Blur effect.<\/p>\n<p>1.) First time installing a gnome shell extension?
