Rekonq 2.4.2 has been released recently and here&#8217;s how to install it in Ubuntu, Linux Mint and their derivatives while the Kubuntu Backports PPA still has version 2.3.2.<\/p>\n<p>Recently changes in rekonq:<\/p>\n<p>rekonq 2.4.2<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>clear urlbar action added<\/li>\n<li>global zoom settings added<\/li>\n<li>faster suggestions in the urlbar<\/li>\n<li>work around favicons<\/li>\n<li>default tab width changed<\/li>\n<li>doc update<\/li>\n<li>bugfixes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>rekonq 2.4.0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>added a simple ssh sync handler<\/li>\n<li>adblock improvements<\/li>\n<li>work on startup settings: load important things before, UI and then last things in the background<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Install Rekonq: <\/h3>\n<p>Press <u>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/u> on keyboard to open terminal.
