This quick tutorial is going to show you how to install Adobe Flash player in Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr for Firefox and other web browser. If you’re using Google Chrome, flash player is already installed by default.<\/p>\n

For 32 bit system:<\/b><\/p>\n

Press Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard to open the terminal. When it opens, run the command below to update your package lists:<\/p>\n

sudo apt-get update<\/pre>\n
Then open Ubuntu Software Center, search for and install the package flashplugin-installer<\/b>. <\/p>\n
\"flashplugin-installer\"<\/a><\/p>\n
It extracts the 32-bit Flash player library from the adobe-flashplugin package (which is retrieved from http:\/\/archive.canonical.com\/) and configures itself as default for Internet browsers.<\/p>\n
For 64 bit system:<\/b><\/p>\n
Because “flashplugin-installer” installs the 32-bit version of Flash and a related compatibility library which may be slower and less stable, so it’s recommended to install the adobe-flashplugin<\/b> package from canonial partners repository.<\/p>\n
First open “Software & Updates” from unity dash, then enable the partners repository under Other “Software” tab.<\/p>\n

After that, press Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard to open the terminal. When it opens, run the commands below to install the flash:<\/p>\n
