Unlike most other BitTorrent clients, FrostWire is able to search for, and download torrents from many major trackers.<\/p>\n<p>The app is written in Java, and works in Windows, macOS, Linux and Android. To install the app, first download the official <code>.deb<\/code> package, through the official download link below:<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons aligncenter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-vivid-cyan-blue-to-vivid-purple-gradient-background has-text-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/www.frostwire.com\/download\/?os=ubuntu&amp;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download Frostwire for Ubuntu<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>2. After downloading the package, press <b>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/b> on keyboard to open up a terminal window. Then, run the command below to install it:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt install ~\/Downloads\/frostwire*.deb<\/pre>\n<p>Instead of typing <code>~\/Downloads\/frostwire*.deb<\/code>, you can drag&#8217;n&#8217;drop the file into terminal instead to insert path to the package. Once installed, search for and launch the app either from start menu or GNOME overview depends on your desktop environment and enjoy!
