Then run the command below to install the application from system repository:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo apt install warpinator<\/pre>\n<h4>For Ubuntu based systems<\/h4>\n<p>There&#8217;s a <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~kelebek333\/+archive\/ubuntu\/mint-tools\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">third-party PPA<\/a> contains the Warpinator package as well as a few other mint tools Ubuntu 18.04, Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 22.04 and their derivatives.<\/p>\n<p>Press Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard to open terminal, and run the command below one by one to add the PPA and install the file transfer:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kelebek333\/mint-tools<\/pre>\n<pre>sudo apt update<\/pre>\n<pre>sudo apt install warpinator<\/pre>\n<h4>Install the app for most other Linux<\/h4>\n<p>The file transfer app is also available to install in most Linux systems as universal <a href=\"https:\/\/flathub.org\/apps\/details\/org.x.Warpinator\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Flathub<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, <a href=\"https:\/\/flatpak.org\/setup\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">follow the setup guide<\/a> to install Flatpak daemon on your system.<\/p>\n<p>Then, install Warpinator as flatpak package by running:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">flatpak install flathub org.x.Warpinator<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/flatpak-warpinator.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"275\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-32718\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/flatpak-warpinator.png 560w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/flatpak-warpinator-450x221.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>And if you want to remove the package, run command:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">flatpak uninstall --delete-data org.x.Warpinator<\/pre>\n<h4>Other platforms<\/h4>\n<p>There are unofficial clients for other platforms. Android user may simply search for and install it in F-Droid or Google Play. <\/p>\n<p>For iOS, an <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/williamMillington\/warpinator-iOS\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">unofficial client<\/a> is in Beta stage. <\/p>\n<p>And Windows user may download and install the EXE from this <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/swiszczoo\/winpinator\/releases\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">github project page<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Warpinator is a local network file transfer application developed by Linux Mint.
