All users of Kernel 3.14 series are urged to upgrade as soon as possible. <\/b><\/p>\n<p>This tutorial will show you how to install or upgrade to this kernel release in Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 13.10, Ubuntu 12.04 and Linux Mint.<\/p>\n<p>Linux kernel 3.14.3 has gathered more drivers and a host of Arch improvements. See <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kernel.org\/pub\/linux\/kernel\/v3.x\/ChangeLog-3.14.3\" title=\"Kernel 3.14.3 ChangeLog\" target=\"_blank\">the changelog<\/a> for details.<\/p>\n<p><b>Install \/ Upgrade to Kernel 3.14.3:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>For graphical way, download the .deb packages from <a href=\"http:\/\/kernel.ubuntu.com\/~kernel-ppa\/mainline\/v3.14.3-utopic\/\" target=\"_blank\">kernel.ubuntu.com<\/a> and double-click to install them via pop-up Ubuntu Software Center in the below order:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>1. linux-headers-3.14.3-031403_3.14.3-xxxx_all.deb<\/p>\n<p>2. linux-headers-3.14.3-031403-generic_3.14.0-xxxx_i386(or amd64).deb<\/p>\n<p>3. linux-image-3.14.3-031403-generic_3.14.0-xxxx_i386(or amd64).deb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>For command line way, press Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard to open terminal. When it opens, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n<p>1. For 32 bit system, download .deb packages via:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">wget http:\/\/kernel.ubuntu.com\/~kernel-ppa\/mainline\/v3.14.3-utopic\/linux-headers-3.14.3-031403-generic_3.14.3-031403.201405061153_i386.deb\n\nwget http:\/\/kernel.ubuntu.com\/~kernel-ppa\/mainline\/v3.14.3-utopic\/linux-headers-3.14.3-031403_3.14.3-031403.201405061153_all.deb\n\nwget http:\/\/kernel.ubuntu.com\/~kernel-ppa\/mainline\/v3.14.3-utopic\/linux-image-3.14.3-031403-generic_3.14.3-031403.201405061153_i386.deb<\/pre>\n<p>For 64 bit system:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">wget http:\/\/kernel.ubuntu.com\/~kernel-ppa\/mainline\/v3.14.3-utopic\/linux-headers-3.14.3-031403-generic_3.14.3-031403.201405061153_amd64.deb\n\nwget http:\/\/kernel.ubuntu.com\/~kernel-ppa\/mainline\/v3.14.3-utopic\/linux-headers-3.14.3-031403_3.14.3-031403.201405061153_all.deb\n\nwget http:\/\/kernel.ubuntu.com\/~kernel-ppa\/mainline\/v3.14.3-utopic\/linux-image-3.14.3-031403-generic_3.14.3-031403.201405061153_amd64.deb<\/pre>\n<p>2. Install the downloaded packages:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo dpkg -i linux-headers-3.14.3-*.deb linux-image-3.14.3-*.deb<\/pre>\n<p>3.
