It features <b>Linux Kernel 5.4<\/b>, <b>Ubuntu 20.04 package base<\/b>, and <b>Xfce 4.14<\/b> \/ <b>Cinnamon 4.8<\/b> \/ <b>MATE 1.24<\/b> desktop environment.<\/p>\n<p>In the new release, it also features a <b>new Web App manager to turn any web page into desktop application<\/b>. Like normal desktop applications, each web app has its own window, icon, and available in application menu.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/linuxmint-webappmanager.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"526\" height=\"399\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33095\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/linuxmint-webappmanager.png 526w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/linuxmint-webappmanager-450x341.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 526px) 100vw, 526px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The new IPTV Player, <b>Hypnotix<\/b>, is shipped with Linux Mint 20.1. It supports live TV, movies or even TV series if your playlist or IPTV provider also has a VOD section.
