It adds ability to <b>send media in DMs<\/b>, <b>delete DMs<\/b>, <b>load older DMs<\/b>, and fixes DM load order issue.<\/p>\n<p>The new release includes new Vala implementation API allows to <b>upload videos and larger animated GIFs<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>Other changes in Cawbird 1.3 include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apply filtering across all feeds (including search)<\/li>\n<li>Apply changes to filtering, muting, blocking and hiding RTs across all feeds instantly<\/li>\n<li>Allow the filtering of mentioned @-handles<\/li>\n<li>Load media in DMs and linkify users and hashtags<\/li>\n<li>Use HTTPS avatars throughout<\/li>\n<li>Allow Compose view to shrink to narrower screens (e.g. for PinePhone)<\/li>\n<li>Design changes, stability improvements, and bug-fixes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/cawbird-focal.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"398\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-32731\" \/><\/p>\n<h3>How to Install Cawbird in Ubuntu:<\/h3>\n<p>The software developer maintains OBS repository with the packages for CentOS, Debian, Fedora, Ubuntu, openSUSE.
