Miss Realtek rtlwifi drivers or get ‘No WiFi Adapter Found<\/i>‘ issue? There’s now an Ubuntu PPA that contains the most recent rtlwifi drivers for Ubuntu, Linux Mint, and derivatives.<\/p>\n

Without building from the source code<\/a>, the \u201cLinux Mint T\u00fcrkiye\u201d team maintains a PPA that contains the most recent wireless drivers with DKMS<\/b> support for rtl8723bu<\/b>, rtl8822bu<\/b>, rtl8188eu<\/b>, rtl8188fu<\/b>, rtl8192cu<\/b>, rtl8192du<\/b>, rtl8192ee<\/b>, rtl8192eu<\/b>, rtl8192fu<\/b>, rtl8723au<\/b>, rtl8723bu<\/b>, rtl8723de<\/b>, rtl8723ds<\/b>, rtl8723du<\/b>, rtl8812au<\/b>, rtl8814au<\/b>, rtl8821ce<\/b>, rtl8821cu<\/b>, rtl8822bu<\/b> devices.<\/p>\n

If you have a RealTek USB WiFi Adapter or a laptop \/ notebook with built-in chipset in the previous list, do following steps may help you install the drivers in Ubuntu 18.04<\/b>, Ubuntu 20.04<\/b>, Ubuntu 22.04<\/b>, Ubuntu 24.04<\/b>, Linux Mint 20\/21\/22<\/b>.<\/p>\n

1.)<\/b> First open terminal either from the system application launcher or by pressing Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard.<\/p>\n

2.)<\/b> Then run command to add the Ubuntu PPA<\/a>:<\/p>\n

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kelebek333\/kablosuz<\/pre>\n

3.)<\/b> Then open Synaptic<\/b> package manager, click Reload<\/i> button refresh package cache, search either rtl<\/code> or dkms<\/code>.<\/p>\n
Scroll down to find out the list of driver packages, then right-click on the one for your chipset and select ‘Mark for Installation’, finally click on Apply<\/b> button to install it.<\/p>\n

Or you can run command in terminal to install the driver (replace rtl8723de-dkms in the code):<\/p>\n
sudo apt install rtl8723de-dkms<\/pre>\n
4.)<\/b> The wireless network should work immediately after you installed the driver. You can manually unload and re-load the kernel module via commands (replace rtl8723de-dkms in the code):<\/p>\n
sudo modprobe -r rtl8723de\r\n\r\nsudo modprobe rtl8723de<\/pre>\n
Uninstall the RealTek Wifi Driver:<\/h4>\n
To remove the driver, either use Synaptic package manager or run apt command in terminal:<\/p>\n
sudo apt remove --autoremove rtl8723de-dkms<\/pre>\n
And remove the Ubuntu PPA via command:<\/p>\n
