Here\u2019s how to install it in Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 20.10, Linux Mint 19.x, and 20.x.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sweethome3d.com\/blog\/2021\/03\/03\/sweet_home_3d_6_5.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">release note<\/a>, SweetHome3D 6.5 features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Azul OpenJDK 11.0.10 bundle for 64-bit Windows to get better HiDPI support.<\/li>\n<li>Azul OpenJDK 15.0.2 bundle for Mac OS X \u2265 10.9, which supports notarization and the Apple new M1 processor.<\/li>\n<li>JOGL library updated to 2.4 RC 20210111<\/li>\n<li>Display Java runtime and Java 3D version in About dialog.<\/li>\n<li>New options in Furniture and Textures Library Editors<\/li>\n<li>Add a new example to the gallery, shows a house with pillars built on a small hill along a lake.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/AboutDialogBox.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"540\" height=\"389\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33437\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>How to Install Sweet Home 3D 6.5 in Ubuntu:<\/h4>\n<p>First the software offers Linux portable as well as jar package in <a href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/sweethome3d\/files\/SweetHome3D\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">sourceforge page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sweet Home 3D is also available to install and keep updated via Flathub repository.<\/p>\n<p><b>1. Setup Flatpak framework in Ubuntu:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>First open <u>terminal<\/u> from system application launcher.
