Here&#8217;s a PPA available for Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 20.10, and Linux Mint 20.<\/p>\n<p>ClipGrab is a free and open-source downloading and converting application for <b>YouTube<\/b>, <b>Vimeo<\/b>, <b>Facebook<\/b>, and many other video sites. <\/p>\n<p>Thanks to Youtube-DL and Qt framework, it provides a simple UI with ability to search videos via keywords. By clicking a video from the search result, it automatically inputs the video URL to &#8220;Downloads&#8221; tab. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/clipgrab-focal.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"384\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33504\" \/><\/p>\n<p>You can also copy &#038; paste the video URL directly from YouTube web page, and then select downloads format, MPEG4, MP3, etc, and choose the quality.<\/p>\n<p>Finally click on &#8220;Grab this clip!&#8221; to start downloading process.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/clipgrab-downloads.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"384\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33505\" \/><\/p>\n<h4>Install ClipGrab via Ubuntu PPA:<\/h4>\n<p>The software offers official Linux binary via non-install Appimage package in <a href=\"https:\/\/clipgrab.org\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">its website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you prefer the classic .deb package with better integration, the <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~xtradeb\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">&#8220;xtradeb packaging&#8221; team<\/a> maintains the software package in an unofficial PPA, which so far supports for Ubuntu 20.04 and Ubuntu 20.10.<\/p>\n<p><b>1.)<\/b> Open terminal from system app launcher.
