With it, you can easily browse through file system and drag&#8217;n&#8217;drop add clips to the Bin or Timeline.<\/p>\n<p>And there are new effects <i>typewriter effect<\/i> with 3 animation modes, <i>Alpha Strobe<\/i> effect to text, images, or videos, Effect Zones to apply effects to specific regions of tracks or the timeline. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/kdenlive2104-splash.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"300\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33649\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Other features in <a href=\"https:\/\/kdenlive.org\/en\/2021\/04\/kdenlive-21-04-released\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kdenlive 21.04<\/a> include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Zoombars in the timeline.<\/li>\n<li>New icons and functions for the effect\u2019s keyframe panel.<\/li>\n<li>New online resources widget<\/li>\n<li>Add AV1 render profile.<\/li>\n<li>Re-enable audio playback on reverse speed.<\/li>\n<li>Add \u201cunused clip\u201d filter in Project Bin.<\/li>\n<li>Add channel selection to audio waveform filter.<\/li>\n<li>Add ITU 2020 colorspace in clip properties.<\/li>\n<li>Treat GIFs as video, not as image.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to Install Kdenlive 21.04 in Ubuntu:<\/h3>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~kdenlive\/+archive\/ubuntu\/kdenlive-stable\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">kdenlive team ppa<\/a> has made the latest packages for Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 20.10, Ubuntu 21.04, Linux Mint 20.<\/p>\n<p><b>1.)
