{"id":33660,"date":"2021-04-30T16:06:18","date_gmt":"2021-04-30T16:06:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/?p=33660"},"modified":"2021-04-30T16:06:18","modified_gmt":"2021-04-30T16:06:18","slug":"nvidia-465-27-linux-rtx-a5000-support","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/index.php\/2021\/04\/nvidia-465-27-linux-rtx-a5000-support\/","title":{"rendered":"NVIDIA 465.27 for Linux Released with RTX A5000, A4000, A3000, A2000 Support"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/nvidia-logo245.png\" alt=\"Nvidia Linux driver\" width=\"245\" height=\"250\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-6050\" \/><\/p>\n<p>NVIDIA graphics driver for Linux released version 465.27 a day ago with new Laptop GPUs support and a few bug-fixes.<\/p>\n<p>In NVIDIA 465.27, following new GPUs are supported:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>T600 Laptop GPU<\/li>\n<li>T1200 Laptop GPU<\/li>\n<li>RTX A5000 Laptop GPU<\/li>\n<li>RTX A4000 Laptop GPU<\/li>\n<li>RTX A3000 Laptop GPU<\/li>\n<li>RTX A2000 Laptop GPU<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/3060-ogimage-small.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"315\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33419\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There are also some fixes in the release including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fixed a bug that could prevent a system from resuming from suspend when DisplayPort activity occurred while the system was suspended.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a regression that prevented eglQueryDevicesEXT from correctly enumerating GPUs on systems with multiple GPUs where access to the GPU device files was restricted for some GPUs.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a regression that could cause system hangs when changing display resolution on SLI Mosaic configurations.<\/li>\n<li>Fixed a bug that could result in blank displays when driving multiple displays at the same resolution using active DisplayPort dongles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to Install NVIDIA 465.27 in Ubuntu:<\/h3>\n<p>Ubuntu now builds the latest NVIDIA drivers and pushes them via its own security &#038; updates repositories. <\/p>\n<p>Just wait! It&#8217;ll be available in next few days.
