The new driver brings lots of fixes and improvements and adds support for following GPUs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>GeForce GTX TITAN Z<\/li>\n<li>GeForce GT 740<\/li>\n<li>GeForce 830M<\/li>\n<li>GeForce 840M<\/li>\n<li>GeForce 845M<\/li>\n<li>GeForce GTX 850M<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For a complete list of changes, read the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nvidia.com\/Download\/driverResults.aspx\/76278\/en-us\" target=\"_blank\">official announcement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Install Nvidia Driver 337.25 in Ubuntu:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Below steps will teach you how to manually install the official .run package in Ubuntu:<\/p>\n<p>1. Press <b>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/b> on keyboard to open the terminal. When it opens, run commands below one by one to remove previous installed proprietary driver:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo apt-get purge nvidia*\n\nsudo apt-get update\n\nsudo apt-get install nvidia-331-updates-dev<\/pre>\n<p>2. After restarted your computer, download the driver:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href='http:\/\/us.download.nvidia.com\/XFree86\/Linux-x86\/337.25\/NVIDIA-Linux-x86-337.25.run' class='arconix-button arconix-button-large arconix-button-blue'>32 bit Linux<\/a> <a href='http:\/\/us.download.nvidia.com\/XFree86\/Linux-x86_64\/337.25\/NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-337.25.run' class='arconix-button arconix-button-large arconix-button-blue'>64 bit Linux<\/a> <a href='http:\/\/us.download.nvidia.com\/XFree86\/Linux-x86-ARM\/337.25\/NVIDIA-Linux-armv7l-gnueabihf-337.25.run' class='arconix-button arconix-button-large arconix-button-blue'>32 bit ARM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>3. Switch to command console by pressing <b>Ctrl+Alt+F1<\/b> (or <b>F2<\/b> ~ <b>F6<\/b>) on keyboard and log in.<\/p>\n<p>4. Kill the graphical session via:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo service lightdm stop<\/pre>\n<p>For Gnome GDM or Linux Mint MDM, you may replace lightdm with gdm or mdm in the command.<\/p>\n<p>5.
