And now an Ubuntu PPA is available that contains these apps for all current Ubuntu releases.<\/p>\n<p>Without adding Linux Mint repository and <a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/index.php\/2021\/02\/set-package-ppa-apt-repository-priority-ubuntu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">setting the priority<\/a>, an Ubuntu PPA is good choice to install or receive the package updates.<\/p>\n<p>And &#8216;Butterfly&#8217;, a top contributor of Linux Mint project on launchpad, maintains the <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~kelebek333\/+archive\/ubuntu\/mint-tools\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PPA repository<\/a> with packages so far for <i>Ubuntu 22.04<\/i>, <i>Ubuntu 20.04<\/i>, <i>Ubuntu 23.10<\/i>, and <i>Ubuntu 24.04<\/i>\u00a0support. Add the PPA.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Firstly, open terminal either from start menu, or press <b>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/b> on keyboard. When terminal opens, paste the command below and hit Enter to add the PPA:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kelebek333\/mint-tools<\/pre>\n<p><i>Type user password, no visual feedback, when it asks and hit Enter to continue.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/mint-tools-ppa.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-34286\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/mint-tools-ppa.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"221\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/mint-tools-ppa.png 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/07\/mint-tools-ppa-300x111.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b>2. Next install or update Linux Mint apps:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>After adding the PPA, you can now install one or all of the previous apps via apt command.<\/p>\n<p>For example, install the web app manager via command:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt install webapp-manager<\/pre>\n<p>For other apps, replace <code>webapp-manager<\/code> in the command with <code>bulky<\/code>, <code>hypnotix<\/code>, <code>pix<\/code>, or <code>warpinator<\/code>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/apt-webapp-manager.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33311\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/apt-webapp-manager.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"259\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And if an update version is available, you&#8217;ll be able to upgrade the package via <i>Software Updater<\/i> along with system updates.<\/p>\n<h3>Uninstall PPA and Linux Mint Apps:<\/h3>\n<p>To remove these Linux Mint apps, run apt command with <code>remove<\/code> flag.
