It supports development in (among others) <i>HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, PHP, C, C++, JavaScript, Java, Google Go, Vala, Ada, D, SQL, Perl, ColdFusion, JSP, Python, Ruby<\/i> and <i>shell<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/bluefish-text-editor.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/bluefish-text-editor.png\" alt=\"bluefish text editor ubuntu 14.04\" width=\"600\" height=\"353\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3546\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/bluefish-text-editor.png 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/bluefish-text-editor-300x176.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bluefish is available in Ubuntu universe repositories, but it&#8217;s always a little old. Below is how to add Bluefish&#8217;s official PPA repository and receive future updates by running regular Ubuntu updates via Software Updater.<\/p>\n<p><b>1.<\/b> Press <b>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/b> on keyboard to open the terminal. When it opens, paste below command and hit enter.
