Haguichi is a graphical app to make easy to join, create and manage Hamachi networks in Linux.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/haguichi.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Haguichi<\/a> is a free and open-source app that provides a stylish GTK UI for the official Hamachi for Linux. It has both <i>dark<\/i> and <i>light<\/i> window mode that shows a searchable and sortable network list in the left and details and actions in the right.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s well integrated with the Gnome desktop with <b>notifications<\/b> and <b>system tray indicator<\/b> applet, and make it easy to backup and restore configuration, as well as manage customize commands via <i>Preferences<\/i> dialog. And, it supports a list of <b>keyboard shortcuts<\/b> to make network and command actions more efficient.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/haguichi-dark.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-36111\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/haguichi-dark.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"192\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/haguichi-dark.png 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/haguichi-dark-300x96.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Also, it&#8217;s being developed to fit well in other desktop environments (e.g., MATE, Cinnamon, KDE) including app theme, icon set, file manager and terminal support.<\/p>\n<h3>How to Install Haguichi in Ubuntu:<\/h3>\n<p>The app has <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~ztefn\/+archive\/ubuntu\/haguichi-stable\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">official PPA<\/a> so far contains the latest packages for <b>Ubuntu 24.04<\/b>, <b>Linux Mint 22<\/b>, and <b>Ubuntu 24.10<\/b>, as well as old v1.4.6 for Ubuntu 16.04, 18.04, 20.04, and 22.04.<\/p>\n<p>Besides modern 64-bit desktop PC and laptop, the PPA also supports arm64\/armhf CPU architectures (e.g., Apple Silicon and Raspberry Pi)<\/p>\n<h4>1. Add the PPA:<\/h4>\n<p>Firstly, press Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard to open terminal. Update system package cache:<\/h4>\n<p>Ubuntu now automatically refresh system package cache while adding PPA with the <code>add-apt-repository<\/code> command. But if you&#8217;re following this tutorial in Linux Mint, you may run the command below to update cache manually:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt update<\/pre>\n<h4>3. Install Hamachi for Linux:<\/h4>\n<p>As a graphical front-end, the app needs the official command line client to work properly. Arch Linux may get it from <a href=\"https:\/\/aur.archlinux.org\/packages\/haguichi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AUR<\/a>. Fedora has the <a href=\"https:\/\/copr.fedorainfracloud.org\/coprs\/ztefn\/haguichi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">copr repository<\/a>. And it&#8217;s available in official openSUSE repositories.<\/p>\n<p>For Debian, Raspberry Pi OS and Kali Linux, there&#8217;s another official <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~ztefn\/+archive\/ubuntu\/haguichi-debian\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PPA repository<\/a> present.
