It seems working good though still missing &#8216;COPYING.txt&#8217; file when opening about dialog.<\/p>\n<h4>1. Add the PPA:<\/h4>\n<p>Press Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard to open a terminal window. When it opens, run the command below to add the PPA:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuhandbook1\/apps<\/pre>\n<p><i>Type user password (no asterisk feedback) when it asks and hit Enter to continue.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hugin-unofficial-ppa.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hugin-unofficial-ppa.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"135\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33087\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hugin-unofficial-ppa.png 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hugin-unofficial-ppa-450x101.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>2. Update package cache:<\/h4>\n<p>For Ubuntu 18.04 and some Ubuntu based systems, user may need to manually update the system package cache via command:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt update<\/pre>\n<h4>3. Install \/ Upgrade Hugin:<\/h4>\n<p>After adding the PPA, either install the package via command:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt install hugin<\/pre>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/apt-hugin-focal.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/apt-hugin-focal.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"268\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-36589\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/apt-hugin-focal.png 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/apt-hugin-focal-300x134.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Or upgrade the package using &#8220;Software Updater&#8221; utility.<\/p>\n<h3>How to Remove or Downgrade Hugin:<\/h3>\n<p>For any issue, user may purge the PPA repository which also downgrade the package to the stock version in Ubuntu repository:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt install ppa-purge && sudo ppa-purge ppa:ubuntuhandbook1\/apps<\/pre>\n<p>Or, remove the panorama stitcher directly by running command in terminal:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt remove --autoremove hugin<\/pre>\n<p>And, user may remove the PPA instead of purging it via &#8220;Software &#038; Updates&#8221; utility.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/remove-huginppa.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/remove-huginppa.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"301\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33215\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/remove-huginppa.png 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/remove-huginppa-450x226.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hugin panorama stitcher finally released version 2021.
