User may install it from the official PPA in Ubuntu 18.04, Ubuntu 20.04, Ubuntu 21.04, Ubuntu 21.10 and Linux Mint 20.x<\/p>\n<p>LibreOffice 7.2.5 comes with 90 bug-fixes, including many crashes when recent files are not accessible, inserting hidden field over input field, one click and three TAB presses, saving a calc file after delete some columns, and more. Though, I recommend the classic <i>.deb<\/i> package via its <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~libreoffice\/+archive\/ubuntu\/ppa\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">official PPA repository<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>1. Add LibreOffice PPA:<\/h4>\n<p>Press Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard to open terminal. When it opens, paste and run the command below:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice\/ppa<\/pre>\n<p><i>Type user password (no asterisk feedback) when it asks and hit Enter to continue.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/libreoffice-ppa-focal.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/libreoffice-ppa-focal.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"145\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33434\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>2. Update package cache:<\/h4>\n<p>For Ubuntu 18.04 and some Ubuntu based systems, user needs to manually update system package cache by running command:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt upgrade<\/pre>\n<h4>3.
