Install the xfce4-windowck-plugin<\/b>, written by Alessio Piccoli and C\u00e9dric Leporcq.<\/p>\n<p>Download the binary from the link below that matches your OS type: <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>64-bit system &#8211; <i>xfce4-windowck-plugin_xxx~trusty_amd64.deb<\/i><\/li>\n<li>32-bit system &#8211; <i>xfce4-windowck-plugin_xxx~trusty_i386.deb<\/i><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align:center;\"><a href='http:\/\/ppa.launchpad.net\/oiteam\/xfce4\/ubuntu\/pool\/main\/x\/xfce4-windowck-plugin\/' class='arconix-button arconix-button-large arconix-button-blue' target=\"_blank\" >Download Xfce4-windowck-plugin<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then double-click the package to open with Software Center and click the install button to install it.<\/p>\n<p><b>2. Add the &#8216;Window Header &#8211; Title&#8217; and &#8216;Window Header &#8211; Buttons&#8217; to panel.<\/b> <\/p>\n<p>Now right-click on panel and navigate to <i>panel -> panel preferences<\/i>. Add the two panel items &#8216;Window Header &#8211; Title&#8217; &#038; &#8216;Window Header &#8211; Buttons&#8217; and move them to appropriate locations:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/xfce-add-panel-items.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/xfce-add-panel-items.jpg\" alt=\"xfce-add-panel-items\" width=\"280\" height=\"399\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3918\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/xfce-add-panel-items.jpg 280w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/xfce-add-panel-items-210x300.jpg 210w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 280px) 100vw, 280px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After that, maximize a window and you&#8217;ll see the window title and buttons on the panel.<\/p>\n<p><b>3.<\/b> To get better appearances, do:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use Window Menu instead of Window Buttons in panel, see above picture<\/li>\n<li> Hide the original titlebar when the window is maximized.\n<p>To do so, press <b>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/b> on keyboard to open the terminal.
