Try Sushi file previewer!<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a free open-source project present more than 10 years. I&#8217;ve almost forgotten about it, until I saw that Ubuntu desktop team <a href=\"https:\/\/discourse.ubuntu.com\/t\/proposal-sushi-installed-by-default-as-file-previewer\/28322\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">proposed to install Sushi by default<\/a> in 23.04 release<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.gnome.org\/GNOME\/sushi\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">GNOME Sushi<\/a> runs as a DBus-activated service. With it, user may <b>hit Space Bar on keyboard to quick preview selected file in a pop-up window.
