It makes possible to import from <b>FeedHQ<\/b>, <b>FreshRSS<\/b>, <b>Basquz<\/b>, and other feed readers using Google Reader API (<i>exclude Miniflux due to <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/miniflux\/v2\/issues\/1498\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">this bug<\/a><\/i>).<\/p>\n<p>So now besides manually adding websites, it now supports adding following sources all together:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planet, BlogRoll, OPML.<\/li>\n<li>Google Reader API.<\/li>\n<li>Reedah.<\/li>\n<li>Tiny Tiny RSS.<\/li>\n<li>TheOldReader.<\/li>\n<li>Miniflux.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/liferea-googlereader.webp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/liferea-googlereader-600x390.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"390\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-42563\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/liferea-googlereader-600x390.webp 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/liferea-googlereader-300x195.webp 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/liferea-googlereader-768x499.webp 768w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/liferea-googlereader.webp 1072w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Other changes in this release include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update to Readability.js 0.41 for better image and table handling.<\/li>\n<li>Improve HTML5 extraction<\/li>\n<li>Hide unused expander space in item list and drop enclosure icon from item list, which saves horizontal space.<\/li>\n<li>Improve performance by different check order in itemset merging<\/li>\n<li>Subscribing defaulted to HTML5 feeds even when real feeds do exist.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>How to Get Liferea 1.13.9:<\/h3>\n<p>For Linux with Flatpak support out-of-the-box, e.g., Linux Mint, Pop! OS and Fedora, you may simply search for and install the <a href=\"https:\/\/flathub.org\/apps\/details\/net.sourceforge.liferea\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">software package as Flatpak<\/a> from system package manager.<\/p>\n<p>For Ubuntu based user prefer the classic <code>.deb<\/code> package, here&#8217;s the <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~ubuntuhandbook1\/+archive\/ubuntu\/apps\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">unofficial PPA<\/a> contains the package for Ubuntu 20.04 and Ubuntu 22.04.<\/p>\n<p>1. First, press Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard to open terminal. When it opens, run the command below to add the PPA:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuhandbook1\/apps<\/pre>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hugin-unofficial-ppa.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"135\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-33087\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hugin-unofficial-ppa.png 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/hugin-unofficial-ppa-450x101.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2.
