The Ubuntu Kernel supports for building and running external kernel modules using Rust programming language.<\/p>\n<p>The desktop edition features <b>GNOME 44<\/b>, with following changes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;background apps&#8221; section (only for flatpak apps) in top-right system menu.<\/li>\n<li>QR code support when enabling Wi-Fi hotspot.<\/li>\n<li>Wireguard VPN support in Network settings.<\/li>\n<li>Redesigned &#8216;Mouse &#038; touchpad&#8217;, &#8216;Accessibility&#8217; settings page.<\/li>\n<li>Icon view support in native file chooser.<\/li>\n<li>Bigger avatar icon and bold username in login\/lock screen.<\/li>\n<li>Save image link and paste into new file in Nautilus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The release also introduced <b>new installer<\/b>. It&#8217;s a flutter app that has a fast response and modern look and feel.
