The major feature addition is the integrated settings dialog which is suppose to ease configuring plank and obsolete the need for 3rd party settings tools. Besides that some HiDPI fixes and possible crasher fixes.<\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/plank-dock-launcher.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/plank-dock-launcher-1024x575.jpg\" alt=\"Plank Dock Launcher\" width=\"610\" height=\"342\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4376\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/plank-dock-launcher-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/plank-dock-launcher-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/plank-dock-launcher.jpg 1365w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>For the list of <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/plank\/1.0\/0.8.0\" target=\"_blank\">fixed bugs<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the &#8220;folders disappeared and can&#8217;t be added again&#8221; issue in Linux Mint 17.1 Cinnamon 2.4<\/li>\n<li>Plank crashes intermittently when quitting Thunderbird Mail<\/li>\n<li>Elementary OS 0.3 Freya: item-positions not updated in panel-mode <\/li>\n<li>Plank cannot handle GVFS URIs on drag-and-drop<\/li>\n<li>default window icon in dock is ugly<\/li>\n<li>Display &#8220;close&#8221; in context menu instead of &#8220;close all&#8221; when single instance is open<\/li>\n<li>Don&#8217;t show a window list when single instance is open<\/li>\n<li>Look for theme data in \/usr\/share\/themes too<\/li>\n<li>Use selected-focused background-color for indicators<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Install \/ Upgrade to Plank 0.8.0:<\/h4>\n<p>The binary packages have been made into PPA, available for Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu 14.10, Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 12.04 and their derivatives.<\/p>\n<p>To add <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~ricotz\/+archive\/ubuntu\/docky\" title=\"Plank Dock PPA\" target=\"_blank\">the PPA repository<\/a>, press Ctrl+Alt+T to open terminal and run:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ricotz\/docky<\/pre>\n<p>After that, refresh your system package cache by running:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo apt-get update<\/pre>\n<p>Finally install or upgrade Plank:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo apt-get install plank<\/pre>\n<p>That&#8217;s it.
