User can manually add new panel, configure its position, add panel items. First, press <code>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/code> on keyboard to open the konsole terminal emulator. You desktop layout should change automatically to the Ubuntu style.<\/p>\n<p>If system default bottom taskbar is still there, right-click on it and &#8220;Enter Edit Mode&#8221;, then click Remove Panel from &#8216;More Options&#8217; menu.<\/p>\n<p>To configure the left sidebar, right-click any icon on it and click &#8220;<code>Edit Dock<\/code>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/latte-dock-edit.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-45322\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/latte-dock-edit.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"681\" height=\"418\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/latte-dock-edit.webp 681w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/latte-dock-edit-300x184.webp 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 681px) 100vw, 681px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the pop-up settings dialog, configure its position, panel mode (justify) or dock mode (center), auto-hide, etc options in the first <code>Behavior<\/code> tab.
