It&#8217;s updated every 4 weeks, with security updates provided before each Firefox release. It has strong tracking protection, no user tracking, flexible layout, and switchable design.<\/p>\n<p>Floorp provides official Linux packages through an apt repository and Flatpak package. There&#8217;s also a portable Linux tarball available to in its <a href=\"https:\/\/floorp.app\/en-US\/download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">download page<\/a>. Choose either one that you prefer, though all can be installed side by side.<\/b><\/p>\n<h3>Option 1: Install Floorp (.deb) from apt repository<\/h3>\n<p>For the classic <code>.deb<\/code> package format, it provides an apt repository with <b>Ubuntu 20.04<\/b>, <b>Ubuntu 22.04<\/b>, <b>Ubuntu 24.04<\/b>, and higher support.<\/p>\n<p><b>1.<\/b> First, press <code>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/code> on keyboard to open terminal. When it opens, run command:<\/p>\n<pre>curl -fsSL https:\/\/ppa.ablaze.one\/KEY.gpg | sudo gpg --dearmor -o \/usr\/share\/keyrings\/Floorp.gpg<\/pre>\n<p><i><code>curl<\/code> command is NOT available out-of-the-box in Ubuntu, you may install it first via <code>sudo apt install curl<\/code><\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>This command will download the key file from ppa.ablaze.one and save it to the <code>\/usr\/share\/keyrings<\/code> directory. It by default can access your Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Videos, Pictures, and Music folders.
