It supports searching multiple locations simultaneously, including locations outside user home. Other changes for &#8216;Files&#8217; include:<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>New processing indicator in bottom of sidebar.<\/li>\n<li>Faster switching between list and grid view.<\/li>\n<li>Search file preferences.<\/li>\n<li>Detailed date and time.<\/li>\n<li>New menu option to toggle location entry.<\/li>\n<li>Starred favorites in grid view.<\/li>\n<li>Improved network discovery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/nautilus-globalsearch.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-45516\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/nautilus-globalsearch-700x452.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"610\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/nautilus-globalsearch-700x452.webp 700w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/nautilus-globalsearch-300x194.webp 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/nautilus-globalsearch-768x496.webp 768w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/nautilus-globalsearch.webp 914w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nGNOME Control Center, aka Settings app, now includes &#8220;<b>Remote Login<\/b>&#8221; option through RDP protocol. In the release &#8220;Apps&#8221; panel has been redesigned to touch friendly, so there&#8217;s no longer big arrow in left pane.
