It can show thumbnails or project details of all project files in a directory.<\/li>\n<li>Create GPano tags also for cylindrical output projection.<\/li>\n<li>Several bug fixes for verdandi\/internal blender.<\/li>\n<li>Fixes reading of metadata from cr3 raw files.<\/li>\n<li>cpfind is now using multirow strategy as default. If you want the old behaviour instead add the (new) switch <code>--allpairs<\/code> to command line.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>And, version 2024.0.1 is a quick fix for compiling with older wxWidgets 3.0.x or 3.1.x libraries. Though, it still refused to build in my case in Ubuntu 22.04 and earlier with wxWidgets 3.0.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/hugin-2024.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-47595\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/hugin-2024-700x418.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"610\" height=\"364\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/hugin-2024-700x418.webp 700w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/hugin-2024-300x179.webp 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/hugin-2024-768x458.webp 768w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/hugin-2024-1320x787.webp 1320w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/hugin-2024.webp 1373w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>How to Install Hugin 2024.0.1 in Ubuntu<\/h3>\n<p>The source tarball as well as Windows <code>.msi<\/code> package are available to download in the sourceforge.net via the link below:<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons aligncenter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-vivid-cyan-blue-to-vivid-purple-gradient-background has-text-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/hugin\/files\/hugin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download Hugin (source tarball)<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>For Ubuntu Linux, besides building from the source, there are Ubuntu PPA and Flatpak package available, though both are unofficial.<\/p>\n<h4>Option 1: Install Hugin from PPA<\/h4>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/~ubuntuhandbook1\/+archive\/ubuntu\/hugin\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ubuntu PPA<\/a> contains the new 2024.0.1 .deb package for <b>Ubuntu 18.04<\/b>, <b>Ubuntu 20.04<\/b>, <b>Ubuntu 22.04<\/b>, <b>Ubuntu 24.04<\/b>, and <b>Ubuntu 24.10<\/b>, as well as their based systems, such as <b>Linux Mint 22\/21<\/b>. And, <code>amd64<\/code>, <code>arm64<\/code> and <code>armhf<\/code> CPU architecture types are supported.<\/p>\n<p><b>NOTE: As mentioned, Hugin 2024.0.1 still has compile issue when building on 22.04 and earlier with wxWidgets 3.0. So, I built the app along with wxWidgets 3.2 into the PPA.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>1. First, press <b>Ctrl+Alt+T<\/b> on keyboard to open up terminal window. Then, run command to add the PPA:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ubuntuhandbook1\/hugin<\/pre>\n<p><i>Type user password (no visual feedback) when it asks and hit Enter to continue.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/hugin-ppa-beta.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-43377\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/hugin-ppa-beta-600x407.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"407\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/hugin-ppa-beta-600x407.webp 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/hugin-ppa-beta-300x203.webp 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/hugin-ppa-beta-768x521.webp 768w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/hugin-ppa-beta.webp 786w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. Ubuntu now automatically refresh package cache while adding PPA, though Linux Mint users need to do the job manually:<\/p>\n<pre>sudo apt update<\/pre>\n<p>3.
