The official <a href=\"https:\/\/forum.shotcut.org\/t\/user-guide-table-of-contents\/43285#p-145073-video-filters-11\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">user guide<\/a> does not update for the new filters at the moment of writing. But as the names indicate, they are for creating a 360-degree virtual reality or immersive experience.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shotcut-360captopbottom.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-48548\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shotcut-360captopbottom-700x397.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"610\" height=\"346\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shotcut-360captopbottom-700x397.webp 700w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shotcut-360captopbottom-300x170.webp 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shotcut-360captopbottom-768x436.webp 768w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shotcut-360captopbottom-1536x872.webp 1536w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shotcut-360captopbottom-1320x749.webp 1320w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/shotcut-360captopbottom.webp 1868w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Besides the new filters, the release also improved the Copy Channel filter with &#8220;Copy Current&#8221; and &#8220;Copy All&#8221; options, added &#8220;Vertical&#8221; and &#8220;Horizontal&#8221; parameters to the No Sync video filter, and introduced text style preset to &#8220;Generate Text on Timeline&#8221; under Subtitles&#8217; hamburger menu.<\/p>\n<p>There are as well new &#8220;Not In a Bin&#8221; smart bin in the Playlist, Ctrl (Command) key to constrain movement to the vertical or horizontal axis in all filters, filter search with <code>#rgba<\/code>, <code>#yuv<\/code>, <code>#gpu<\/code>, and <code>#10bit<\/code> tags, as well as new \u201cITU-R BT.2020\u201d color space option in the custom video mode dialog.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/videomode-colorspace.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-48549\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/videomode-colorspace.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"524\" height=\"394\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/videomode-colorspace.webp 524w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/videomode-colorspace-300x226.webp 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 524px) 100vw, 524px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Other changes include new icon in timeline clips when they have filters, reduced Gamma and Gain range in the Color Grading filter, as well as fixes for various issues, including undo\/redo crashes. double-clicking item in a Bin may open wrong clip, and Windows shortcuts and macOS aliases handling issues in Files.
