This is step by step guide shows how to install the G’MIC plugin for GIMP 3.x series in Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04, and higher.<\/b><\/p>\n

Find out which GIMP package you installed<\/h3>\n

GIMP is available to install Ubuntu through different package format: Snap<\/b>, Flatpak<\/b>, Deb<\/b>, and AppImage<\/b>.<\/p>\n

To check if GIMP is installed via Snap package, open terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run command:<\/p>\n

snap list<\/pre>\n
This command will list all the installed snap packages. If GIMP is installed as Snap, then simply search and install G’MIC plugin<\/a> snap package from App Center or Ubuntu Software.<\/p>\n
