No cloud, no account required. And, it comes with a <b>pre-made sample library<\/b>, for those who just want to just listen to some classical music right way.<\/p>\n<p>Musicus can import\/export, search, and handle metadata for classical music. It&#8217;s moving to add new features, such as creating albums and Windows support. Until v1.0, it&#8217;s NOT recommended to use it as your primary music collection.<\/p>\n<h3>How to Install Musicus<\/h3>\n<p><b>NOTE: This is NOT general use music player but only for classical music, generally refers to the art music of the Western world.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Musicus offers pre-made Flatpak package that works in most Linux Distributions. Just go to the Github releases page:<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons aligncenter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-vivid-cyan-blue-to-vivid-purple-gradient-background has-text-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/johrpan\/musicus\/releases\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download Musicus (under Assets)<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Then, open terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run command to install:<\/p>\n<pre>flatpak install ~\/Downloads\/de.johrpan.Musicus.flatpak<\/pre>\n<p>NOTE for Debian\/Ubuntu, run <code>sudo apt install flatpak<\/code> first to install Flatpak daemon if it&#8217;s not available.<\/p>\n<p>Here, I already have the GNOME run-times installed.
