While, VMs are now grouped into &#8220;Machines&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s also new &#8220;Home&#8221; panel with Import, Export, Preferences tool-bar options as well as quick links to create, open, configure and import VM, as well as documentation and VirtualBox website.<\/p>\n<p>Besides the UI change, it also added support for running Windows 11 ARM as virtual machine on ARM hosts, and add guest addition support for Windows 11 ARM VMs. The Windows installer has also been updated with Arm virtualization support built-in.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/win11-laptop.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-49006\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/win11-laptop-700x447.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"610\" height=\"390\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/win11-laptop-700x447.webp 700w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/win11-laptop-300x192.webp 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/win11-laptop-768x490.webp 768w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/win11-laptop.webp 1026w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Other changes include ACPI support in ARM VMs, and <code>vboxwebsrv<\/code> added in the packages for ARM hosts. So far, it supports Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal), Ubuntu 22.04 (Jammy), Ubuntu 24.04 (Noble), and Ubuntu 24.10 (Oracular).
