The 140.0 release of Firefox web browser is available to download after 4 weeks of development and beta testing.<\/p>\n

In addition to Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, and Wikipedia, the new release introduced custom search engine<\/b> support. User now can either right-click search field of a supported website and select Add Search Engine<\/code>, or go to “Settings -> Search” to add search engine with custom name, URL, and optional keyword.<\/p>\n

When using Vertical Tabs, the divider between the pinned tabs and other open tabs now is draggable, so that you can resize the section to view more pinned tabs without scrolling.<\/p>\n

The Extensions icon tool-bar in the release can now be hidden by using “Remove from Toolbar” context menu options. And, you may add it back by using the “Always show in Tool-bar” context menu option in “Customize toolbar…” page.<\/p>\n

Firefox 140 also enhanced the full-page translations support. It now prioritizes translating only the content near your current view, improving speed and responsiveness. While other content that’s outside your view is skipped unless you scroll to it, reducing unnecessary resource usage.<\/p>\n
