While the official pre-build packages are out along with the source tarball.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The new release can now automatically collect your tabs into groups. It will also suggest group names based on the tabs you selected, helping you stay focused, save time, and reduce clutter. The new release also added a divider between tool icons and tabs area. And, you can drag moving the divider to change the size accordingly.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/firefox-sidebar-divider.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-49311\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/firefox-sidebar-divider.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"421\" height=\"365\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/firefox-sidebar-divider.webp 421w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/firefox-sidebar-divider-300x260.webp 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 421px) 100vw, 421px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/mozilla\/release-notes\/blob\/master\/releases\/firefox-141.0-release.json\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">github release<\/a> page, Firefox 141.0 now uses less memory, though I didn&#8217;t see noticeable difference in my test.<\/p>\n<p>And for Linux updating Firefox through package manager (e.g., apt), it does no longer require app restart to apply changes.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, user can now use the address bar as a unit converter. For example, type &#8220;35c to f&#8221; or &#8220;17 to hex&#8221;,\u00a0 then it will show you the conversion in pop-down suggestion. And, so far it supports converting units of length, temperature, mass, force, and angular measurement, as well as time-zones.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/firefox-converter.webp\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-49312\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/firefox-converter.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"597\" height=\"270\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/firefox-converter.webp 597w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/firefox-converter-300x136.webp 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 597px) 100vw, 597px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Other changes in Firefox 141.0 include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enable Address autofill for users in Brazil, Spain and Japan.<\/li>\n<li>Include Catalan (Valencian variant) dictionary the spellchecker in Valencian build.<\/li>\n<li>Translation for Albanian, Gujarati, Hebrew, Hindi, Kannada, Malay, Malayalam, Persian, and Telugu.<\/li>\n<li>Use system font icons for the caption buttons in Windows 11.<\/li>\n<li>Enable the WebGPU API on Windows.<\/li>\n<li>And various security fixes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For developers, the release also implemented the <code>closedby<\/code> attribute and it&#8217;s related <code>closedBy<\/code>, added support Cookies Having Independent.
