It automatically remembers the pinned applications&#8217; icons on the Unity Launcher for each workspace and changes the Launcher when you switch between workspaces. <\/p>\n<p>The tool is still at a very early stage\uff0c it only changes pinned icons when you switch between workspaces. Not work for unpinned icons even though there are opened on different workspaces.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4941\" style=\"width: 610px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/lswitcher.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4941\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/lswitcher.jpg\" alt=\"Unity Launcher Switcher\" width=\"600\" height=\"350\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4941\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/lswitcher.jpg 600w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/lswitcher-300x175.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-4941\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">LSwitcher settings window<\/p><\/div>\n<p><b>Install and Use LSwitcher:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The tool is available in Ubuntu 14.04, Ubuntu 14.10, and Ubuntu 15.04 Unity Desktop, and you have to enable workspaces at System Settings -> Appearances -> behavior tab.<\/p>\n<p>To install the tool from PPA, open terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run below commands one by one:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo add-apt-repository ppa:vlijm\/lswitcher\n\nsudo apt-get update\n\nsudo apt-get install lswitcher<\/pre>\n<p>Depends on your OS type, <i>32-bit (i386)<\/i> or <i>64-bit (amd64)<\/i>, you can alternatively download &#038; install the <b>.deb<\/b> installer from the <a href=\"http:\/\/ppa.launchpad.net\/vlijm\/lswitcher\/ubuntu\/pool\/main\/l\/lswitcher\/\" target=\"_blank\">launchpad page<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To use the tool, open LSwitcher from the Unity Dash.
