Now, if the value of a <code>totp<\/code> field consists only of Base32 characters, it is now treated as a shared secret for time-based one-time password generation.<\/p>\n<p>The release also improved the app user interface. The quick search box now search for group paths, while a toggle option is available in <code>Tools<\/code> -&gt; <code>Options<\/code> -&gt; <code>Interface (1)<\/code> to turn on\/off the feature.<\/p>\n<p>The drop-down box for quick search box, which can be opened by <code>Alt + Down<\/code> now supports keyboard navigation and selection. However, due to bug, the auto-completion of the quick search box is disabled.<\/p>\n<p>For users who have many groups, the release now supports displaying &#8216;Group Path&#8217; and &#8216;Group Name&#8217; list columns in the main entry. Though, the feature is not enabled by default. User may enable them by going to &#8216;View&#8217; \u2192 &#8216;Configure Columns&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-49947\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/group-name-700x445.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"610\" height=\"388\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/group-name-700x445.webp 700w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/group-name-300x191.webp 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/group-name-768x488.webp 768w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/group-name.webp 835w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>KeePass 2.60 also improved the app user experience for keyboard users. It now supports pressing <code>Ctrl<\/code>+<code>A<\/code> to select all items in the list views, and <code>Delete<\/code> to delete selected items in list views that have a corresponding &#8216;Delete&#8217; button.<\/p>\n<p>And, for those who use <code>Ctrl+Alt+A<\/code> for the global auto-type hot key, while French Standard AZERTY keyboard layout is active, it shows a warning dialog telling the conflict along with a &#8216;More information&#8217; link.<\/p>\n<p>Other changes in the release include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Add empty state messages for list views.<\/li>\n<li>Support generating native ARM64 images (NGen) on ARM64 systems for ShInstUtil.<\/li>\n<li>Save configuration immediately when shutting down the system.<\/li>\n<li>The value of a &#8216;File\/URL&#8217; or &#8216;Key file&#8217; field of a trigger event\/condition\/action may now optionally be enclosed in double quotation marks.<\/li>\n<li>Various other improvements. See the <a href=\"https:\/\/keepass.info\/news\/n251102_2.60.html\" target=\"_blank\">release note<\/a> for details.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Install KeePass 2.60<\/h3>\n<p>The official installer and portable zip archive for Windows are available to download in its website along with KeePass 1.x and source tarball.<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons aligncenter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-vivid-cyan-blue-to-vivid-purple-gradient-background has-text-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/keepass.info\/download.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download KeePass<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>For choice, you may go directly to this <a href=\"https:\/\/sourceforge.net\/projects\/keepass\/files\/KeePass%202.x\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sourceforge page<\/a> download page.<\/p>\n<p>For Ubuntu user, there&#8217;s no official package for the new release so far.
