It handles external devices, CDs, and album art. Noise utilizes Granite for a consistent and slick UI.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/elementary.io\/\" target=\"_blank\">Elementary OS<\/a> Team has created a few PPAs on launchpad.net so users can easily install and test some Elementary applications on Ubuntu desktop. Open terminal from the Dash, App Launcher, or by pressing Ctrl+Alt+T on keyboard. When it opens, run command to add the Elementary OS daily ppa:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:elementary-os\/daily<\/pre>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/noise-ppa.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/noise-ppa.jpg\" alt=\"noise-ppa\" width=\"560\" height=\"131\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5042\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/noise-ppa.jpg 560w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/noise-ppa-450x105.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 560px) 100vw, 560px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>2. After adding the PPA, refresh your system repository cache and install the music player via 2 commands:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo apt-get update\n\nsudo apt-get install noise<\/pre>\n<p>3. Finally, you have to remove the PPA since it contains some unstable and EOS only applications. To do so, run:<\/p>\n<pre style=\"border:none;\">sudo add-apt-repository <b>-r<\/b> ppa:elementary-os\/daily && sudo apt-get update<\/pre>\n<p>4.
