With the new 1.1.17 version, two new Linux Distributions are support. They are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/athenaos.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Athena OS<\/a>, Arch\/Nix-based Distro, that contains a collection of tools for penetration testing.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/developer.huaweicloud.com\/intl\/en-us\/euleros\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EulerOS<\/a>, commercial Linux distribution developed by Huawei based on RHEL for server and cloud environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Besides new Linux Distributions support, this version also improved the Secure Boot process. Previously, when SecureBoot enabled, Ventoy grub must be launched by Ventoy Shim.<\/p>\n<p>With the new version, the following exceptions will also work when the Shim protocol doesn&#8217;t exist:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ventoy key was enrolled directly to the UEFI DB.<\/li>\n<li>Some UEFI firmware (MSI) has Image Execution Policy as Always Execute which means Secure Boot is effectively disabled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Other changes in the release include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fix the boot issue for latest GhostBSD.<\/li>\n<li>Fix the boot issue for some UOS release.<\/li>\n<li>Add log for live injection process.<\/li>\n<li>Fix fdisk detection on BusyBox systems.<\/li>\n<li>Fix proxmox-ve can not boot after install in grub2 mode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more changes, see the releases page in the <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/ventoy\/Ventoy\" target=\"_blank\">Github source<\/a>.
