And, Windows Script Host now correctly handles Unicode UTF-16 LE scripts with BOM, for better non-English characters, special symbols, mixed-language text support.<\/p>\n<p>This development release also includes various bug-fixes. They includes fixes for <i>3Impact Tech Demo collection<\/i> crashed when starting its first demo, <i>Adobe Reader 11<\/i> PDF portfolio search crashes, <i>Heroes of the Storm<\/i> crash on start, as well as <em>Hedgewars 1.0.0<\/em>, <em>Falcon BMS 4.37<\/em>, <em>PCSX2 Nightly<\/em>, <em>XDefiant Beta<\/em>, <em>Anti-Virus\/Spyware 4.0 driver<\/em> crashes, and <em>Microsoft Office Word 2016<\/em> hang.<\/p>\n<p>Other fixes include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adobe Reader 9.0 installer fails.<\/li>\n<li>Windows apps could unexpectedly lose keyboard focus.<\/li>\n<li>Amazing Adventures 2: mouse pointer flashes all over the screen.<\/li>\n<li>Age of Empires I and II blank screen in introduction cinematics.<\/li>\n<li>MSYS2 package updates got stuck.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more about this version, see the official <a href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.winehq.org\/wine\/wine\/-\/releases\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">release note<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Get Wine 11.14<\/h3>\n<p>Wine provides official packages for Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, and macOS, which are available in its download page:<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons aligncenter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-vivid-cyan-blue-to-vivid-purple-gradient-background has-text-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.winehq.org\/wine\/wine\/-\/wikis\/Download\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Download Wine<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Though the &#8220;WineHQ Binary Packages&#8221; section misses the &#8220;26.04&#8221; keyword, the Ubuntu installation guide do support Ubuntu 26.04 Resolute.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wine, the free open-source software for running Windows applications and games in Linux, macOS, and BSD, released new 11.14 development version.
