User may run <code>gsettings<\/code> command or use Dconf Editor to set the key value to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>VmSize<\/b> &#8211; total virtual memory allocated to the process.<\/li>\n<li><b>Rss<\/b> &#8211; total physical RAM currently held by the process (private + shared memory).<\/li>\n<li><b>RssNoSharedMemory<\/b> (default) &#8211; Rss excluding shared memory.<\/li>\n<li><b>RssAnon<\/b> &#8211; physical RAM allocated directly to the process data, no shared memory, no file-backed memory.<\/li>\n<li><b>Pss<\/b> &#8211; The most realistic measure of a process&#8217;s actual RAM footprint. (private + shared memory \/ number of processes).<\/li>\n<li><b>ApproximatePss<\/b> &#8211; A faster, less resource-intensive calculation of Pss.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For AMD processors with a dedicated NPU (Neural Processing Unit), such as Ryzen 7040, Ryzen 8040, and Ryzen AI 300\/400 series, this version added the monitoring <b>support for AMD NPU utilization, power and performance (TOPs)<\/b>.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_51719\" style=\"width: 620px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-51719\" src=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/resources-amdnpu-700x642.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"610\" height=\"559\" class=\"size-large wp-image-51719\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/resources-amdnpu-700x642.webp 700w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/resources-amdnpu-300x275.webp 300w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/resources-amdnpu-768x704.webp 768w, https:\/\/ubuntuhandbook.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/resources-amdnpu.webp 1480w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-51719\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">AMD NPU monitoring, image from resources source page<\/p><\/div>\n<p>This beta also added the ibmpowernv hwmon driver to KNOWN_HWMONS, so that it can <b>report temperature for PowerPC CPUs<\/b>. This driver however does not load on PowerVM LPARs and KVM virtual machines.<\/p>\n<p>It as well includes some improvements to the left side-bar. They include <code>F9<\/code> keyboard shortcut to toggle side-bar visibility, render usage details as overlay for the graph, use icons for text in sidebar graphs, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Other changes include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Rename app ID to <code>org.gnome.Resources<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>Improve detection of Steam games.<\/li>\n<li>Accurately associate snap processes with their desktop app.<\/li>\n<li>Add cli option to disable update halt on suspension.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Get Resources<\/h3>\n<p>For more changes about the release as well as the source tarball, go to the Gitlab source page via the link below:<\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons aligncenter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-fill\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-vivid-cyan-blue-to-vivid-purple-gradient-background has-text-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/gitlab.gnome.org\/GNOME\/Incubator\/resources\/-\/releases\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Resources in Gitlab<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The app provides pre-build Linux package through Flatpak, which is at version 1.10.2 so far, available to install in <a href=\"https:\/\/flathub.org\/en\/apps\/net.nokyan.Resources\" target=\"_blank\">this Flathub page<\/a>.
