The wallpaper competition for Ubuntu 26.10, Stonking Stingray, is now open for submission! Top TWO of the 3 categories will be included in the .iso images.<\/b><\/p>\n
Everyone can participate, by either submitting an image taken from a camera or made by digital creative tools, or just voting your favorite ones! <\/p>\n
And, you can get cool wallpaper images there that are free for both personal and commercial use.<\/p>\n

As before, the submissions are grouped into 3 categories: Mascot Theme<\/b> – artwork that features the mascot for raccoon, Digital \/ Abstract<\/b> – artwork created by digital tools (e.g., Blender, GIMP etc), and Photography<\/b> – high resolution image taken from a conventional or digital camera.<\/p>\n
And, the top TWO<\/b> voted from each category, meaning 6 images or more (including their light\/dark variants), will be included in Ubuntu 26.10 as optional wallpapers in the Appearance -> Background settings.<\/p>\n

Also, the AI generated artworks are NOT accepted,<\/b> because of the license issue and legal debates on the ownership.<\/p>\n
