Faugus, the open-source app launcher for running Windows games and Steam games in Linux, released new 2.1.0 version today.<\/p>\n
This simple and lightweight UMU-Launcher based application added GOG games support in the past few weeks. With the new 2.1.0 version, it can now run Amazon games in your Linux Desktop.<\/p>\n

Besides new games support, this version continue improving the Flatpak and AppImage support. <\/p>\n
Since the last release, the Faugus installed as Flatpak package shows all the storage devices in the file chooser dialog. In the new 2.1.0, it now supports the Proton compatibility layer from Steam installed as Flatpak.<\/p>\n
And, the AppImage package has been updated with some fixes for the saving images, extracting icons, as well as not working on some Distributions issues.<\/p>\n
For Linux games that don’t run with the Steam Runtime, there’s now an option to disable UMU. <\/p>\n

option to disable UMU for Linux games<\/p><\/div>\n
Other changes are mostly translation updates and minor UI updates. It now prefers PNG icon if available then fall back to ICO icon. And, the system tray icon is now running in a separate process.<\/p>\n
For the Covers and SteamGridDB interface modes that use the zoom slider, a new “Zoom” setting is added to allow user to manually hide that slider. <\/p>\n
For users with many Steam game shortcuts, it now renumbers the remaining shortcuts after removing a shortcut, so their numeric IDs are consecutive and correctly ordered. <\/p>\n
