See the <a href=\"https:\/\/forums.paint.net\/topic\/134563-%F0%9F%8D%B7-extremely-experimental-winelinux-support-how-to-get-started\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announcement<\/a> for details.<\/p>\n<h3>Try out Paint.NET in Ubuntu<\/h3>\n<p><b>The steps below are tested in Ubuntu 26.04, though it should also work in Ubuntu 24.04, Ubuntu 22.04, and their based distributions, such as Linux Mint.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>1.<\/b> As mentioned, the Linux implementation works through Wine (<b>version &gt;= 11.14<\/b>).
