And, user can manually configure it by passing <code>--hwdec<\/code> command option:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><code>--hwdec=auto<\/code> &#8211; use hardware decoding if possible (default).<\/li>\n<li><code>--hwdec=disabled<\/code> &#8211; disable the feature and use software decoding.<\/li>\n<li><code>--hwdec=vaapi<\/code> &#8211; use VA-API, Linux only.<\/li>\n<li><code>--hwdec=d3d11va<\/code> &#8211; D3D11VA, Windows only.<\/li>\n<li><code>--hwdec=videotoolbox<\/code> &#8211; VideoToolbox, macOS only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For Linux, it so far supports on VA-API.
